Students in the Media Club have finished their final edit of "A Bully's Story".
The Media Club students wrote, directed, filmed and edited the movie. The entire movie was shot on 2 IPads. The video was edited in the Apple program IMovie. Because of various limitations, many scenes were shot using a green screen.

We now have a Lorain K12 Digital Academy - Homeroom in Brightspace! I will begin adding Announcements (like this one!) to this new Homeroom, along with sending Gmail announcements and adding them to our Website Blog @ loraindigitalacademy.com - there are so many ways for you to stay informed!
REMEMBER: You should be checking your LDA Gmail Account on a daily basis for announcements!

OGT Prep starts Tuesday, September 20 through Thursday, October 20.
You will meet twice a week for either Math, Social Studies, or both. It is very important to attend EACH session for the test(s) you are taking:
10:30 - 12:00 Math
12:00 - 12:30 Snack
12:30 - 2:00 Social Studies
10:30 - 12:00 Social Studies
12:00 - 12:30 Snack
12:30 - 2:00 Math

Please plan to bring a lunch as only a light snack will be provided.
Remember, OGT Testing is October 24 - November 3.

If you are not sure if you still need to take an OGT, or would like more information, please call the office immediately between 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

HOW IT WORKS:
(1) Call (440) 830-4300 or use the online form to request help from a coach.
(2) The Coach will call or email you to set up an appointment.
(3) You will get an email with an invitation to attend the appointment.
(4) When you accept the invitation, the appointment will be placed on your Google Calendar.
If you make an appointment with a coach, you can stay and work in the lab for the entire day.

If you still need to pass an OGT, you have an opportunity to take them again during the week of June 13th - 17th.

Students MUST complete 10 hours of tutoring per subject area before taking the Summer OGTs. OGT tutoring will be offereed during the week of June 6th - 10th in the following subject areas: Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.
