Each student with their parent or guardian attends a 3 hour computer training session where they learn how to work the computer equipment, communicate with teachers and receive information on live on-line tutoring. After the three hour session, the student receives:

Computer with Keyboard and mouse
Scanner (upon request)
Printer (Elementary & Special ED only)

The student must demonstrate proficiency in the use of a computer/online program by completing the introductory orientation. A parent or guardian must attend this 3 hour orientation.

For the 2011-2012 school year the Lorain Digital Academy will be using the Backpack Portal to access their on-line learning. The K-6 grade level will use the Compass Learning System.
